RealWorld Systems is a virtual company, comprising a group of consultants who work out of offices mainly throughout Canada, with a few in the United States and other countries. Our processes are designed to support effective distance collaboration, and all of our project teams involve members from at least two different locations.
Team meetings use teleconferencing, web conferencing and other online tools. This enables us to work seamlessly with partner organizations and clients in remote locations; in fact, one of our clients (located in Chicago) told us that we were more accessible and responsive than any of the local firms he had hired. Typically the project executive liaises with the client sponsor in occasional face-to-face meetings, and most of the project work is managed through distance collaboration processes. This enables RealWorld Systems to serve regions throughout Canada and the United States and to work closely with partner organizations.
RealWorld Systems has developed human resource processes to ensure that we hire and retain great consultants and that we minimize risks for our clients. Our processes also result in the best value to our clients by delivering the highest quality products in the shortest possible time-frame for the lowest possible cost. Many of our key team members have core competencies in project and human resource management.
In fact, we are deeply interested in the project and human resource management disciplines. We conduct environmental scans several times a year to identify emerging best practices and we routinely talk with other experts in the field to exchange knowledge. We test promising new approaches for effectiveness and build the learnings into our project and human resource plans.
As a result of our continuous improvement efforts, our processes are of the highest quality. They include tightly coupled processes dealing with planning, managing and assuring quality throughout the project life-cycle.
